Amber Meets Martin

Dear Diary,

Today I met the sweetest guy at Crypt O Night. His name is Martin Langly and he has the most alluring blue eyes I've ever seen! He is a bit on the shy side, but it didn't take long for us to strike up a conversation and get to know each other a little more.

Ok, so he did a lot of talking and I didn't do a whole lot of listening. I just couldn't take my eyes away from his blues. I just nodded along and acted cute, anything to keep him interested.

We danced for a little while until he started complaining that his back was hurting him, so I gave him a nice shoulder massage. After he was a bit more relaxed, we headed to The Hub for dinner.

We had a nice time and we flirted a little, but like I said, he's pretty shy so I did my best not to scare him away by overdoing it. I figure we can go on a second date soon and I can overdo it then. *winks*

When I got home, Shane was so excited I could hardly understand him, his mouth was running so fast. All I got was something about a board meeting and shipping issues or something and what he proposed worked so he got to bring home a nice little bonus check of $40K which would be enough to finish the first floor of my dream house as well as get us some nice furnishings. Of course, that was cause for celebration. *ahem*

I still can't believe that the first floor has been built! I let him do most of the decorating too since it was his money that paid for it, but I'm thinking about slowly changing things one at a time. Besides, it's not like he'll be living here forever, right?
